💪💪💪
Thank you for the love. I appreciate the support
Glad to see you post. Keep up the Great work!
Breckinridge dudes are absolute beasts. They deserve their shot status back. Their Supt is an absolute stand up dude. My first fire I saw how a seasoned salty dog laced their boots and mimicked it. Rock it to this day. Thanks boys
Whats the song called brother
Going Gets Tough by the Growlers Cheers!
Makes me miss this fire season and last years ! Hopefully yo boy gets picked up for next season ! Miss the work !
Hey man, just realized I worked with you in the SQF NF in 2020 peeling that ridge. I was on the other 'Whiskey' module. You make incredible content and I have watched your Breckenridge videos numerous times. Keep it up!
Cole! I remember! Good to hear from you. Some of this footage is from that ridge if you recognize it. Thank you for that brother. Hope to keep making more.
Damn this was awesome well done. Much respect ✊🏼
Молодцы братцы !
Спасибо
They can’t possibly pay these guys enough for what they do… My hat’s off to them.
Love to all US FOREST SERVICE FIREFIGHTERS 🚒
Looks awesome. How does someone get onto a WFM?
Shitty music
What a cool version of Clint Eastwood
Right on. I thought so too
Thanks boys for being out there keeping us safe!

They protect the forests and some peoples houses

Prayers and Blessings for all of you and thank you for all you do! Special prayers for the soul of Charles Morton who gave his life for what he loved doing from Tx fan!
Bad Ass.
Thinking of becoming a wild land firefighter
Some of the best times I’ve ever had coupled with some of the toughest things I’ve ever done. Good luck
James Lazaro what’s the best way to get all the qualifications
Join a Interagency Hotshot Crew and: 1--Walk more miles in a year than you ever conceived you could, much of it on ground the public would never choose to walk on. 2--Carry more weight on your back than you thought possible and lift things you didn't think humans could get together to pick up. 3--Eat, walk and sleep in dust, days at a time. Pull or blow the biggest boogers you have ever imagined the human body can produce. If you don't, you can't breathe through your nose. 4--Find out why some say that having a drip torch in your hands is the most fun you can have while standing up. 5--Hear the grossest jokes you are ever going to hear in your life. 6--Form some incredible relationships. You have everyone else's back and so do they. 7--Be a GS-4 making as much as a GS-7 or 8. Be a GS-5 making as much a a GS-9. 8--Maybe you will quit and not stay in fire, maybe you will go on to be a crew sup, maybe a batt chief or a division chief. 9--Be respected by people in fire management. 10--Realize the public doesn't have the slightest idea of what you do. 11--Endure eating fire sack lunches, probably the biggest negative and most complained about things on a fire. 12--Marriage and family life will be extraordinarily difficult. Just having a long term relationship will be hard to find. That's all I can think of for now. No doubt others can add more or edit what I've written.
Spot on! Couldn’t have said it better myself.
Is it pretty much guarantee you will have to go days without sleep on this job?
Sleep deprivation is a guarantee. Not exactly days but shifts can get extremely long. 36 hour responses are not atypical and going over 24 hours on minimal sleep is common.
@@jimmylive I would love to do this, but I can't go without sleep for more than a day or two .
@@jimmylive I would love doing what you do. I have too get sufficient sleep. Is this also true for Type II? Are there ways to get on a crew besides the USFS?
It’s true of all crews. Yes the BLM, the BIA, and even certain counties have crews. There is also private and contract crews.
@@jimmylive Is BIA the Bureau of Indian Affairs?
Awesome to watch my dads actually on the Breckinridge crew
I love being wildland is my day job structure volenteer as well
Thank you James, this was actually very cool to watch!
Thank you Nestor

Thank you for all you do guys!
GMH
Easily the best HS year in review videos i've watched. Nicely done and looks like a great team to be a part of. Be safe, and keep loving what you do
Ditto. Was about to write the same thing.
Awesome video. What cameras were used?
Imperator thank you. Mostly iPhone 7 and above.
I plan on becoming a fire fighter soon. I'm signing up for 6 months training getting a year of experience in. Then I'm becoming a hotshot. Its gonna be fun training will be intense but its worth it!!! This is awesome good job on the video!
Any updates?
Serious question. How do I become a hotshot?
Wildland fire science classes, experience as wildland hancrew and lower level positions, lots of certifications and training to get red card
Do you happen know how the government buys chainsaws through stihl? I was just wondering if it’s through dealerships or one big order?
Do you happen know how the government buys chainsaws through stihl? I was just wondering if it’s through dealerships or one big order?
I wish I knew more about this Chris but I don’t. I think it comes down to the crews needs at the time and place.
Love what you guys do hopefully one day i can follow in my dads foot steps and eventually work on your crew like my dad once did
Respect from this retired Green Beret
Thanks for your service brother
